I remember it like it was yesterday; the anticipation, the excitement, the love emanating from every corner of Buena Vista Point Scenic Overlook in Catalina Island. That day was special, not just for Javni and Deepesh, but for all of us who had the pleasure to witness their engagement.

 

Deepesh had chosen the perfect location. The island of Catalina, with its picturesque setting, was like a character in their love story. Avalon, the little town we were in, was buzzing with its usual charm, but that day, it seemed to hold an extra spark, an extra dose of magic.

 

We started the shoot at Buena Vista Point Scenic Overlook. The view was breathtaking; the blue sky merging with the azure ocean at the horizon, the lush greenery adding a vibrant touch to the scenic panorama. It was the perfect backdrop for what was about to unfold.

 

Deepesh, with a twinkle in his eyes and a nervous excitement, surprised Javni with a proposal. As he got down on one knee, the world seemed to hold its breath. When Javni said 'yes', it was as if the world started spinning again, but this time, with an added rhythm of love. Their family and friends, who were gathered there, erupted into cheers and claps, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

 

The joy was contagious, the smiles infectious. We took pictures, capturing not just the beautiful view but the beautiful emotions that were on display. Love, happiness, surprise, and relief, every emotion was perfectly captured, making those photos a treasure trove of memories.

 

After the proposal, we went for a walk around the little town of Avalon. The town, with its small streets and quaint houses, added a fun element to the engagement shoot. The couple, now engaged, had a different glow, a different aura around them. They were in their own love bubble, making the world around them seem even more beautiful.

 

Looking back, the engagement shoot of Javni and Deepesh was not just about photographs, it was about capturing moments, emotions, and most importantly, love. It was about celebrating two people, who were ready to embark on a new journey together, surrounded by the beauty of Catalina Island and the love of their family and friends.
